Edmonds’ Brand New Civic Park with playground is dedicated to Mika who was a wheelchair user. The playground has a saucer swing and wheelchair merry-go-round however there was no inclusive swing at the time of review. The play surface is rubber and there are some concrete ramps. There is no shade or covered areas near the playground. Parking is exclusively on street parking but some semi-successful accessible street parking is provided on the other side of the park. Several all gender restrooms are provided with small changing tables however they are fairly small restrooms and there are no oversized changing tables.
